| A project is completed effectively if it is finished without delay or persistent faults. |
- Equipping – Property and engineering projects often need substantial equipment installed outside of the construction contracts. This work should be an integral part of the whole project and follow similar project management procedures.
- Commissioning – detailed commissioning and testing is essential before facilities ‘go-live’. A structured approach and excellent planning is the key to effective commissioning.
- Testing and Handover – All capital projects should be handed over to the Client formally after going through an effective process of communication, consultation and commissioning. Only when everything is fully functioning do we ask the Client to accept responsibility.
